UHMW can be designed into the construction of new fendering structures, enduring continuous impact and rubbing, prolonged ultra violet light exposure, wide temperature variations, salt and chemical contact. UHMW fenders can be made of UHMW, crosslinked UHMW, or reprocessed UHMW.
